A hyrbid test concept built with the first Mattel chassis, suspension and wheels mounted under a Matchbox Mustang body. -

These were created in the middle of 1967.
Body was a 1966 Lesney Matchbox Series No 8 Mustang Fastback.
Blue Mustang is a stock Matchbok Mustang body which is painted in original Mattel color.
Red Mustang is a modified (door/trunk/hood lines removed) Matchbox Mustang.
This one was later repainted Red. Unknown its original color. -
