As Mattel's most legendary and expensive casting to collectors, quite a variety of reproductions have been created.  Even Mattel eventually released their own reproductions.  The following pages cover some information about them hopefully serving as a guide to the types of items that exist and will allow the collector to either identify what they have or assist with making a potential purchase choice.

Of the many versions, they run the gambit from very well made to quite poor produced  As with any item, higher quality ones cost more than poor quality reproductions..  The lesser quality items are often misrepresented as one of the better items..

One of the most commonly misrepresented items is the Brightvision casting.  Several of the later versions copied the Brightvision reproductions then purposefully misrepresent and attempt to sell them as Brightvision castings.
